The P-valve is perhaps the most important accessory installed on any dry or wet suit. When diving dry, it greatly reduces the risk of decompression sickness as the diver knows relief will be available during the course of the dive and encourages plenty of predive hydration. When diving wet, it will help to keep your suit from smelling like the late night men’s room of any college town bar.
Light Monkey P-valves are available in three different styles: Tinkle Valve, Balanced Valve, and Non-balanced Valve.
Tinkle Valve:
- Compact design reduces bulk inside of drysuit while providing all the benefits of a balanced p-valve
- Delrin® Body with 2′ (60 cm) of Norprene tubing
- Unique o-ring sealed cover that is easy to open and close bare handed or with thick dry gloves
- Utilizes a combinaiton of the low-profile umbrella and duckbill valves to establish effortless balancing to ambient pressure within your drysuit
- Comes with a medium catheter
- Available with or without Quick-Disconnect catheter fitting
