The Maximus retains the signature features that made it famous, including the under-arm hose swivel, extended 42″ hose, and the exceptionally comfortable Wisdom mouthpiece. Modern upgrades such as one-touch performance adjustment, SMART Demand Lever, a high-performance valve design, and an oversized purge cover further enhance breathing comfort and ease of use.
Upgraded in 2023 with the SR2 1st Stage, the Maximus Pro represents the pinnacle of Sherwood performance. The SR2 is the only flow-through piston regulator that is environmentally sealed, internally dry, and depth-compensated. Sherwood’s patented Three Pin Link (3PL) system transfers environmental pressure to the piston, ensuring smooth, consistent airflow at any depth.
